‘Fabric of Spacetime’ : In Fabric of Spacetime, Zelinskie teams up with Out of Seam, who specialize in bio materials and natural dyes, to bring the beauty of nebulae to life through large-scale textile works inspired by iconic images from NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope. These monumental, floor-to-ceiling raw silks, hand-dyed with natural pigments, and intricately deconstructed robotic weavings of celestial bodies like the Carina and Tarantula Nebulae, evoke the ephemeral nature of the universe. Visitors can touch and engage with the artwork, allowing them to transcend the boundary between fabric and space, offering a unique, tactile experience of the cosmos.
